Network Security Cameras Offer HD Surveillance

Taiwan-based Commell has announced megapixel network cameras that ought to deliver at least 1,280 x 720 pixel at 30/25 fps (frames per second) and are designed to be perfectly suited for detailed identifications of objects and persons in large-space surveillance areas. According to Commell they offer high image quality, two-way audio and H.264 dual streaming and ought to qualify for security, remote communication and management functions.

Commell provides two types of network cameras: CMI-713 is based on Sony’s 1.3 megapixel CCD and is recommended for outdoor or low illumination areas such as traffic roads, airports, banks, casinos and government buildings. CMI-720 is based on Micron’s 2.0 megpixel CMOS and is recommended for retail stores, schools, hospitals and securing critical areas.

Commell’s HD Network cameras operate using Power over Ethernet (PoE), which allows for flexible, cost-effective installation. Each camera features a SD socket support, and an alarm I/O for easy integration with alarm systems.
