Endpoint Protector secures networks against threats

CoSoSys has been recently selected by the Bronx-based non-profit organization Astor Services For Children & Families to protect its network from threats embedded in portable storage and lifestyle devices. Astor has selected the Endpoint Protector solution (we reported) to increase its security and protect their network from both inside and outside threats and to comply with specific regulations of the State of New York.

Endpoint Protector is a best-of-breed DLP (Data Loss Prevention) and removable media device control solution designed to minimize internal threats, reduce data leakage risks and proactively control devices connected to the endpoints. It allows IT departments to proactively take control of the device internal use, while tracking all data transferred in or out of the protected network and enforcing encryption of the data in transit on portable devices. Endpoint Protectors low TCO and support for both Windows and Linux Server Platforms ought to make it an excellent choice for NGOs and businesses alike.

CoCoSys Endpoint Protector supports Windows XP/2003/Vista (32 and 64 bit)/Windows 7 on the client side and Windows 2003 Server, Debian Linux, Red Hat Linux and Fedora Linux on the server side. The solution supports USB flash drives, memory cards, internal and external CD/DVD players/burners, internal and external hard and floppy disk drives and card readers, ZIP drives, digital cameras, smart phones, BlackBerry, iPods and other MP3 players, FireWire devices, biometric drives, Bluetooth devices, printers, ExpressCards, Wireless USB, webcams.
