Al Otaiba introduces Internet surveillance cameras

The Dubai, United Arab Emirates based Al Otaiba Communications, exclusive distributor for Sitecom in the Middle East region, has launched new wired and wireless Internet security surveillance cameras into the market. Users can control and watch the live recordings of both models from any desktop PC or notebook via the Inter- or Intranet. The cameras feature a motion detector and automatically start recording once an activity is spotted. The user receives an instant notification via email.

By connecting the Sitecom WL-404 to a wireless/wired network or the Sitecom LN-406 to a wired network the user can monitor the area into detail thanks to the 4x zoom, which can be adjusted in the interface of the camera. The cameras are supporting MPEG4 and MJPEG standards and are said to offer fluent audio and video quality. Via a built-in microphone the user can hear what is happening in the monitored area.

The IEE802.11b/g/n compatible Sitecom WL-404 offers an extensive wireless range and therefore flexibility, since the device does not have to be placed near the router.

The wireless Sitecom WL-404 is priced at 749 AED (approximately 146 EUR or 204 USD). The wired Sitecom LN-406 is priced at 599 AED (approximately 117 EUR or 163 USD). Both cameras come with Sitecoms 10 year warranty. (Quelle: Al Otaiba Communications/GST)
