Both the European Central Bank (ECB) and the US Federal Reserve (Fed) left key interest rates unchanged. In Dublin the ECB council yesterday decided to leave the key interest rate at 3.75%. On Wednesday the Fed had announced that it would not change its key interest rate which currently stands at 5.25%. Both decisions had been anticipated by financial experts.
