The Cofresco Institute has launched a competition for European researchers and research laboratories the winners of which will be awarded with a total of 100.000 Euros for innovative projects in the field of food packaging.
The projects are to produce a packaging which has to provide consumers handling food with at least one of the following advantages: longer keeping quality of food, easier preparation of the food, materials which are environmentally friendly and safer or healthier storage of food.
Over a period of one to three years up to three winner projects will be sponsored by a total sum of 100.000 Euros at most. More detailed information on how to participate in the competition as well as on the conditions for participation is available on the Cofresco website.
