Seminar on customs issues informs importing and exporting SMEs

Whoever wants to be successful in international trade has to find their way about the jungle of customs regulations, given that irrespective of all the progress made with regard to market opening and harmonization there are still a lot of rules, controls and non-tariff trade barriers in place. Valuable know-how on this subject matter can be acquired in January next year on the occasion of the “Nürnberger Zollseminar” organized by the Association of German Chambers of Commerce and Trade (DIHK) and the Oberfinanzdirektion in Nuremberg.

In the seminar the current regulations on import and export will be imparted in a hands-on approach to participants. After the seminar they will be able to act according to the rules while at the same time using the available space for interpretation. 19 experts on customs issues will inform about all the relevant aspects relating to foreign trade. The hands-on character of the seminar will be ensured by many practical exercises and case studies.

The seminar starting on January 29th will in total extend over four weeks. Teaching will end on April 27th. Participation in the full 4-weeks programme will cost 1.800 Euros. If only the last two weeks are booked, the price will be 1.200 Euros. Registration for the seminar is possible until December 10th 2006. All the details can be looked up on the website of the hosting chamber of commerce and industry in Nuremberg. GERMAN
